Hoopers department store in Tunbridge Wells has an exciting opportunity for someone with proven retail operations experience, combined with a passion for excellent customer service.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting and deputising for the Store Manager in every aspect of operating the store, in particular within the areas of expense control, administration, central receiving, maintenance, security, health & safety and human resources.
The successful candidate will: Have previous retail operations experience in the department store sector or large high street retailer. Be a positive and effective communicator. Be commercially astute. Have experience in budget setting and cost control. Be self motivated. Have the ability to influence, coach, mentor and build strong working relationships.
